Graduated with honors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1983, where he earned his Private Pilot License. Bill was fortunate to start his 30 year career as a professional Aviation Insurance Broker, and worked for 2 international insurance firms-Alexander & Alexander and Sedgwick specializing in Aviation. Has gained valuable specialization working with Airlines, Maintenance Repair Operations, Aircraft Manufacturer’s, Financial Institutions, Aircraft Interior operations, Corporate Aviation, Fixed Base Operations and others… Appointed by Citicorp/Citibank to be their Account Representative to develop additional lines of insurance business with Sedgwick, based on his success with their Aviation exposure.
Bill has volunteered his time for charity events and supports Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Alumni Chapter, Angel Flight Soars, the NBAA Airport Committee and Atlanta Aero Club. He is an avid skier, racquetball player and hiker.

Elaine's aviation career spans three decades. Private pilot training in 1986 launched her into Commercial Airline Sales, working with a Manufacturer's Rep firm in Southern California. In 1992, Elaine formed her own Corporate Aviation Rep firm working in Dana Point, CA. Accepting a position with Midcoast Aviation in 1998, she relocated the Weatherby family to Atlanta, GA. Elaine also worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Comlux, Dassault Aircraft Services, and Bombardier Aircraft Services. After earning her insurance license, she joined forces with Bill Soldan at Aero Alliance Insurance Services as a Partner.
One of Elaine’s insurance successes includes winning and serving Angel Flight Soars’ unique insurance needs.
Elaine is an active volunteer with the Atlanta Aero Club and Angel Flight Soars.
